11:45 DottorLeo: Hi! I'm here to ask to someone more in depth with the amdgpu driver if this thing is worth posting as a bugreport on the amd-drm gitlab. I have a laptop (HP 255 G9) with a Ryzen 5625u+Vega 8 GPU. I'm using Fedora KDE 42 up to date but seems that it can't parse the EDID of my laptop monitor. I've posted this problem on KDE bugtracker and i was answered that it might be a problem with the libdisplay-info library. I've posted all
11:45 DottorLeo: the informations there (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/emersion/libdisplay-info/-/issues/49) and i was told it might be a problem with the driver ( i think the kernel driver). Pinging @agd5f_ and @zamundaaa[m], if the EDID on "/sys/class/drm/card*-eDP-1/edid" it's 0 bytes, where all the informations are gathered for KDE to be used for showing the refresh rate, resolutions?
11:45 DottorLeo: The EDID should always be not 0? Do i need to report it?
11:46 DottorLeo: CC @emersion, i'm the guy from the bugreport, maybe you can tell better than me what is missing here ^^"
