19:29 agd5f: the only limitation is that the kernel queue will use a queue slot which can't be preempted
19:30 agd5f: shashank has been sending out patch sets periodically. I think he's planning to send out an updated version soon
19:32 agd5f: for implicit sync there is also a firmware change required that has not landed in the general firmware tree yet, so it will require a special CP firmware until that hits firmware mainline
