12:55Venemo: kode54: assuming you use radv, please open a bug report on the mesa bug tracker
12:55Venemo: roboporo: same suggestion
18:02orbea: What is the right place to discuss kernel audio issues using hdmi audio with amdgpu? I seem to have a regression somewhere between 5.15 and 6.1.
18:31Ristovski: orbea: What sort of issues?
18:34orbea: Ristovski: the audio is bad, skips, stutters, white noise, especially under increased CPU usage, even if its minor, such as switching focus between terminal windows in the wm or scrolling a webpage with firefox, it works with 5.15.162, but not with 6.1.100 or 6.10.0
18:36Ristovski: Hmm, and I assume it works fine with a different connection (aka anything else apart from HDMI audio)?
18:44orbea: yea, I should test this, I think I have speakers somewhere...it was also working before I switched my motherboard and CPU (asrock + ryzen now), before I was using an intel cpu
19:31vedranm: orbea: 5.15.162 and 6.1.100 on the same HW?
19:36orbea: vedranm: yes, was working with 6.6 until I switched hardware
19:43vedranm: orbea: can you bisect?
20:01orbea: vedranm: probably, but i've never done a kernel bisect before so im not sure how involved that is?
20:04dwfreed: just standard git bisect with the kernel tree
20:09orbea: i'll try it, this weekend probably
