00:15karolherbst: mhh yeah...
14:53Rotes_: Hi! Hello!
14:54Rotes_: Apologizes for any inconvenience but I need to mention that the very site, gitlab.freedesktop.org, for the past two days roughly has been timing out always for me. I can never open the site whatsoever.
14:55Rotes_: I can't access it myself with mobile data, phone either... you name it. I was wondering if some supervisioning webmaster or owner, could please check their site's infrastructure?
14:55karolherbst: Rotes_: it seems fine here at least, or other developers would already complained if it's a more widespread issue
14:56Rotes_: Hi, Karol!
14:57Rotes_: Yes, see, this is something very odd happening on my end, because again, I can't access it myself no matter whichever platform I use, and I already tried other browsers of kind.
14:57Rotes_: Right now though, I can open the site just fine, which might've been some temporary fluke.
14:58Rotes_: If it matters, I'm from Brazil. Do you all impose any countryside blocks...?
14:58demarchi: Rotes_: checking here our monitoring... it seems to be consistently up for the past days. what is down most of the time last days is anongit.freedesktop.org
14:58karolherbst: not explicitly at least. There is some spam protection going on, so that might trigger something based on IPs maybe, but besides that, no
15:03Rotes_: I see, thank you both! Must be the spam protection then that went awry over my IP, somehow. Least, that's what I can theorize. :/
15:04Rotes_: For reference, I'm simply trying to build a package here (gamescope) and it requires few packages hosted off Gitlab Freedesktop repository. That's how I found out my internet wasn't reaching out FD somehow.
15:05karolherbst: yeah.. could be something temporary,.. sometimes our gitlab instances is also just overloaded
15:05karolherbst: oh no...
15:05karolherbst: a new domain is abusing our gitlab
15:06Rotes_: ... is that so?
15:06karolherbst: not enough to cause troubles tho
15:07karolherbst: but anyway.. we have like ~200 new accounts per day and alot of it is spam
15:19karolherbst: whot: might purging accounts based on the domain denylist? I've added a couple of domains there
18:06bl4ckb0ne: is there a CI/CD setting to handle relative urls in submodules? https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/bl4ckb0ne/electric-maple/-/jobs/61640418 my pipeline is failing because i don't have the repo forked in my account
