15:33adavy: orbea: DavidHeidelberg: There is interest for ARM64 but significant work is needed for it to work properly
15:33adavy: we have to be realistic that no new contributors seem interested in this prohect
15:57orbea: adavy: would it be bad to keep it on maintainence mode only until contributors show up or it becomes just not realistic to do that?
16:04orbea: i feel it would more likely get contributors if it would work inside of steam
16:14DavidHeidelberg: get someone working internally for Valve
16:26orbea: i wonder how to get someone interested in that
16:42adavy: I don't think we can interest Valve with that
16:42adavy: DXVK is doing the job already
16:45adavy: I'm ok with keeping it, maybe wait the amber branch. But we need still need contributors to maintain and prevent regressions. I can help contributors, but I don't have enough interest right now to do that myself. Truth is I haven't been using gallium nine for some time, and it's also a reason I don't detect regressions
17:05DavidHeidelberg: adavy: that's why I started pushing Xnine into CI some time ago 😉
17:05DavidHeidelberg: I can bring nightly tests on all platforms without much cost
17:13adavy: I don't have my mind set in stone, but I still think we need a few pair of hands
17:46orbea: amber branch would make it hard to use while still keeping up with latest mesa changes
17:47orbea: and yea, the fact that I don't use it in steam means I dont test it as much as I would like
17:48orbea: the value for steam I thin would be mainly increased compatiblity, nine or dxvk may work better in specific cases
