Description
The Elan Smart-Pad™ provides fingertip movements or “gestures” detection that
can simulate all existing mouse button operations as well as other functions to
enhance document editing.
Enable
Click the checkbox to
enable Smart-Pad™
One-Finger
(Tapping)
One-Finger tapping
always performs Point/Click/Select function, which is equivalent to clicking
the left mouse button.
Two-Finger
By default,
Two-Finger tapping is set to simulate mouse scrolling wheel, a.k.a. middle
button, functions. Additional features, such as Maximize, Page Down, & Run…etc. are also available.
Three-Finger
By default,
Three-Finger tapping is set to simulate mouse right button functions.
Additional features, such as Context Menu, Maximize, & Run….etc. are also
available.
Customizing
Two/Three-Finger Tapping
Both the two and
three-finger gesture can be reconfigured to perform other tasks. Click on the
drop down arrow to select the new task.
Default
Reset the functions
to its default settings.

Confirm the new
selection and close the panel.
Cancel
Cancel any new
setting and closed the panel.
Apply
Apply the new user
selection.
Troubleshooting,
Verify the following
if any of the functions does not work correctly
1. “Tapping” icon at
vertical control bar is selected (highlighted).
2. The “Enable” check
box is checked (enabled).
